  The next few weeks will see a new Balaclavas 12" EP and a sIngs 12" limited to just 100 copies.

  Balaclavas hit the midwest and eat coast in mid-March through April to support the EP. Dates soon.

  Balaclavas hit the West Coast starting this weekend, then the Midwest and East Coast in March. The band could still use some help filling in dates in March, so please get in touch with me at dullknifeproject@gmail.com if you can help out. The dates are down below.

  In release news, a Sings 12" EP limited to just 100 copies is due at any moment. Sings is the solo project of former By the End of Tonight member Brett Taylor. Think early Microphones meets Coil? A new Balaclavas 12" EP will be ready for their March tour dates, and the long awaited Rusted Shut "Rehab" LP should be out at the same time.

  We're having a sell today through Sunday; all dull knife releases are 20% off. This is the perfect time to pick up some gifts or even something for yourself if you've been sleeping.

  I got a small distro return of the long out of print Rusted Shut - Hot Sex 12". The last few copies are now available on the dull knife site.

  Finally, I also got a VERY limited restock (as in the artist's last 3 copies) of the killer //TENSE// - Escape 12" on Mannequin Records out of Italy. //TENSE// sounds like a mix of minimal synth and early Wax Trax output. Think Absolute Body Control meets Skinny Puppy. Check out the sound clips at http://soundcloud.com/mannequin-label/tense-escape-12-ep-mix. This is the cheapest that you'll find this imported record in the US. You're Dancing.

  Balaclavas "Snake People" gets its official release today. If you were waiting to purchase the album in stores or digitally from iTunes/ Amazon/eMusic/your favorite service, then today is your day. You can also still order the LP or CD direct from dull knife.

  The reviews have started coming in for the album, and they have all been overwhelmingly positive. Check out the album release page to check out reviews from Raven Sings the Blues, Mishka NYC, 20 jazz funk greats, Built On a Weak Spot, and Free Press Houston.

  The debut Household LP "Items" begins shipping late next week for those that pre-order, well in advance of the November 15 official release date. Unless there is something wrong with you, you will instantly fall in love with this record. You listen to the opening track "Go Away" on the album release page on the dull knife site, or you can stream the entire album at http://household.bandcamp.com

  Pre-orders for the new Balaclavas LP/CD have shipped, and you can still order the album in advance of its October 18 street date.

  Household pre-orders should start shipping in about 3 weeks, in advance of the November 15 street date.

  We received a small return from a distributor, so a few titles are available again; this is your last chance to pick up the Balaclavas Roman Holiday LP, RTFO Bandwagon LP, and Circuit des Yeux 7". Get them before they're gone forever.

  Balaclavas - Snake People LP/CD direct orders start shipping next week!

  We are also now offering a pre-order for our next release, which is the debut LP from Brooklyn's Household.

  Items, the debut from Brooklyn's HOUSEHOLD, is 9 songs of perfect, taut, indie pop. The band combines the aesthetics of UK DIY and the heyday of the American indie underground, sharpening them to a point and bringing to mind bands such as Young Marble Giants, Slant 6, and contemporaries Grass Widow.

  LPs from sIngs and Rusted Shut are right around the corner.
